Will your windscreen fit my Cobra?

One of the concerns about buying a windscreen is whether it will fit to your body shape, and the scuttle height in particular.  Every make of cobra is slightly different in this area.

The widths of screens tends to be pretty standard, with 51" between the inner faces of the stanchions.  The measurement to check is the scuttle height.  Bear in mind that cobra screens are fitted with a large flexible blade style seal to help take up scuttle shape variation.

OE Spec Plus screens have a vertical height of 115mm/4.5" measured from the bottom of the frame where it meets the stanchion to the middle.  The scuttle gasket can easily copy with another 13mm/0.5".

So measuring the vertical distance from top face of your stanchion escutcheon plate to the top of the scuttle in the centre of the body will let you know how well our screen will fit.
